Com-Net Software announced today that it has been selected by Wichita Mid-Continent Airport to deploy ECLIPSX-ASP, the new WAN-based solution for flight
information display. The ECLIPSX-ASP server is located and managed at Com-Net Software's headquarters in Miamisburg, Ohio. The system features 128-bit encryption and a local cache controller that provides data redundancy in the event of network outage. “ECLIPSX-ASP is a perfect solution for airports that want to minimize their upfront costs to procure a state-of-the-art flight information display and minimize the impact to local IT staff,“ said, Kelly Kavanaugh, vice president of sales and marketing. “The upfront cost is minimal and the airport can
spread out its investment over several years.“ Chance Fultz, Com-Net Software vice president of product development added, “With ECLIPSX-ASP, Wichita will have all of the operational functionality of our ECLIPSX MUFIDS application, even the ability to accept integrated flight data feeds.“ This project team will mobilize this March and the project is expected to wrap up by second quarter. |
